This item came shipped very securely, is a beautiful display for cakes and baked goods, and also doubles as a punch/display bowl. It's heavy, came with no chips/cracks, and sells at a great price.

This is, quite simply, an item that Amazon cannot deliver without damage. The product may be great, but it is not packed to ship and Amazon tried twice, but a cardboard box and a sheet of paper cannot protect a large glass item. Amazon refunded the money, but the time and effort (not to mention this was supposed to be a gift) could not be refunded. I am a big fan of Amazon, but I am shocked that they sell an item that they cannot make the effort required to pack and ship successfully.

Looks really nice, sturdy and mine is balanced.
The stem is glued on, so beware of this when washing it.
& It's about four or five dollars less at W*Mrt.
